WARNING:
These instructions
should only be used if there is no working transmitter.
For Mac Lift and M-Line Openers (M-4500, M-4700,
etc.):
To program
remote back to the over head motor, open the control panel cover, there are 3
red buttons. The one that sits off by itself is the programming button, there
will be a raised "P" next to it you need to push and hold until all
the led's light up and the number 2 starts to flash. Once this happens you will
push and release the "P" button 4 times. When you are done the number
7 will be flashing, push and hold button on remote, the number 7 will pick up
speed in its flash (rapidly), once this happens you can release the button on
the transmitter and push the "P" button 1 more time to exit the
programming mode. Now the transmitter is programmed back to the motor. For
multiple remotes you will need the programming cable/connector and clone them
to the working transmitter.
For Q-Line Openers (Q-7900, etc):
Once you have pushed and held the "P" button as
stated above, the number 1 will flash. Then push and release "P"
button 2 times, the number 3 will be flashing, push and hold button on
transmitter. The number 3 will flash rapidly, let go of button on transmitter
and push and release "P" 1 time to exit the programming mode.
For Martin DC3700e Openers:
Press and hold the "P" button for about 5 seconds. When all LEDs illuminate release the button.
Then push and release "P"
button 2 times, the number 3 will be flashing, push and hold button on
transmitter. The number 3 will flash rapidly, let go of button on transmitter
and push and release "P" 1 time to exit the programming mode.
